Consultation on the Consolidated Guidelines in respect of the Central Bank Administrative Sanctions Procedure
The Central Bank of Ireland will shortly launch a consultation process on key changes to the ASP following enactment of the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023.
On 5 July 2023, the Law Society of Ireland and Central Bank of Ireland will host a joint event to outline the approach to implementation of key aspects of the updated ASP.
In a session opened by the President of the Law Society, Maura Derivan, and chaired by Mark Garrett, Director General of the Law Society, Central Bank of Ireland Director of Enforcement and Anti-Money Laundering Seána Cunningham will address the consultation and the key changes to the ASP followed by a questions & answers session with Central Bank representatives.
Attendance is by invitation but limited additional places will also be available through the Central Bank and Law Society websites in due course.
