Central Bank of Ireland Issues Warning on Unauthorised Firm – EBS (CLONE)

| Additional information | The firm cloned the details of a Central Bank authorised firm and has been seeking to pass itself off as the legitimate firm, EBS DAC, in order to deceive consumers. It should be noted that there is no connection whatsoever between the Central Bank authorised firm and the scam entity.
The fraudulent entity reached out to consumers directly via phone and email seeking to sell fake investment products and fake deposit accounts including:
1. 6.625% 1 or 2 year fixed term bonds
2. “EBS e-Saver” deposit accounts |
