| Additional information | This scam is an example of an ‘advanced fee fraud’, where a payment is sought upfront prior to providing a loan. The loans are never provided.
The fraudulent entity has cloned the authorisation number of two firms that are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) in the United Kingdom. It should be noted that there is no connection whatsoever between the fraudulent entity Money Finance LLC T/A Round Finance and the two FCA authorised firms, whose details have been cloned. |
