Series B Irish Banknotes (1976/1982 - 1989/1993)
Irish Writers, Philosophers and Artists
In 1976, Central Bank of Ireland introduced a new series of notes, which replaced the Lady Lavery notes (Series A). Although this new series featured a £100 note, this note was never put into circulation. Each denomination showcased a different figure from Irish history.
